The sanitary worker at Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya Shatabdi Municipal General Hospital peeped into the hostel bathroom and filmed the resident doctor while she was taking a bath.
A sanitary worker was arrested for secretly filming a female resident doctor while she was taking a bath in a hospital in Chembur in Mumbai, police said on Thursday.
According to the police, Ashok Gupta, a 28-year-old worker at the Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya Shatabdi Municipal General, peeped into the bathroom of the hostel while the doctor was taking a bath and filmed her.
The officials stated that since the gents’ and ladies’ bathrooms of the hospital were adjacent, Gupta climbed the wall of the male bathroom and filmed the video. When the doctor noticed him, she shouted, following which Gupta ran away.
The doctor raised the issue with the hospital’s dean, and a police complaint was also filed.
Govandi Police arrested Gupta under Section 354 (c) of the IPC following an enquiry.
