Five people were killed after a blast took down a two-storey house in the northern Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, police said Saturday.
The blast took place on Friday inside a house located on an agricultural field in Bulandshahr district of Uttar Pradesh, about 90 km east of the Indian capital city New Delhi.
Media reports said four people were killed on the spot and the fifth succumbed to his injuries in a hospital.
Authorities have ordered an investigation into the blast.
